Cleveland Machine Company, Inc. has been a manufacturer of oil field valve components and wellhead equipment since 1973. Our company was founded by David Clark and his father Sam Clark. The duo ran the business together up until the early-mid 80’s when David bought out his father’s interest in the business. In 1987, David Clark hired Jeff Lilley as a machinist. He worked in the shop up until the late 90’s when he transferred into the office. Jeff’s responsibilities continued to grow. He eventually bought the company in 2013 following Mr. Clark’s death in 2011 and is still President.
Since inception, we have grown from a small, one-man operation into a large scale, high tech machine shop producing products of the highest quality at a competitive price. We continue to hold inventory on the majority of products. Thus, minimizing lead times. All of our products are produced at our location in Cleveland, Texas. We do not resale other suppliers’ valves.
We have been a licensed API 6A facility since 2005 and continue to exceed the growing requirements of the industry. All hydrostatic testing is done in-house with a system capable of reaching working pressures up to 31,900 PSI.
We are on the Approved Vendor List (APL) of several companies including TechnipFMC, BHGE, Weatherford, Streamflo Industries, and Cactus Wellhead.
